ライアン・マッギンレーの"The Kids are Alright"(Self-published,2000)、ポール・グラハムの"A Shimmer of Possibility"(SteidlMACK, 2007)、日本人写真家では、学生運動を撮影している北井一夫の"抵抗"（Self-published,1965）、木村荘八編の"銀座界隈／アルバム・銀座八丁"（東峰書房,1954)、藤原新也"アメリカンルーレット"（情報出版局,1990）などが含まれています。 ファッション系や現代アート系は評価基準が違うのでほとんど含まれていません。約900点のカラー図版を収録。（北海道＆沖縄・離島は除きます。）
しかし収録されているのは、あくまでも編者の好みで選ばれているフォトブックです。世界美術全集 愛蔵普及版6 ドガ 1974年10月25日 発行。中国の現代国画。ガイドブックは自分好みのものを探すための資料として利用をオススメ。世界美術大事典 全6 小学舘。芸術、美術史 Kondo Takahiro-Painter and Potter。
